Dr. Monteroso has been at West Liberty University for 13 years, serving first as a member of faculty, then dean of the College of Education and Human Performance and for the past year as interim provost and vice president of academic affairs.
Taking on new roles relating to diversity are Alisha Knight at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, Monique L. Akassi at West Liberty University in West Virginia, Sherrica Davis-Hunt at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and Ophelie Rowe-Allen at the University of New Haven in Connecticut.
The new deans are Vanessa K. ValdeÌs at the City University of New York, Robyn Schiffman at the College of DuPage in Illinois, Ahkinyala Cobb-Abdullah at Virginia Union University, Ann Saurbier at West Liberty University in West Virginia, Michelle Scatton-Tessier at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Margaret Hanson at the University of Cincinnati, and Nancy Stoudt at the Pardee RAND Graduate School in California.
The new deans are Rose Cuison-Villazor at Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey, Ramona Denby-Brinson at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Cecilia Konchar Farr at West Liberty University in West Virginia, Danielle Dennis at the University of Rhode Island, Karen C. Goff at Oberlin College in Ohio, Pamela Padilla at the University of North Texas, and Melissa Lubin at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Professor DeSensi served on the faculty at the University of Tennessee for nearly 40 years. She served as professor and chair of the department of kinesiology, recreation, and sports studies and as associate dean for the university's Graduate School.
Keely Camden is dean of the College of Education at West Liberty University and Cheryl Torsney has been serving as senior vice provost at the University of Texas at El Paso.
