Chrisler has led Hampshire College on an interim basis for the past three months. She first joined the liberal arts institution in 2019 as chief advancement officer and was promoted to vice president of institutional support in 2024.
The women appointed to dean positions are Jenna Shim at the University of Wyoming, Pamela McCauley at Widener University, Susan Kelly-Weeder at George Washington University, Pamela Slaven-Lee at Marymount University, Cheryl Blackman at Bowie State University, Amy Shapiro at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Marie Bukowski at Wichita State University.
Anastasia Loukaitou-Sideris is the new interim dean of the Luskin School of Public Affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles. Heather Quire was appointed associate vice chancellor and dean of campus life at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and J. Celeste Lay has been appointed interim dean of Newcomb-Tulane College at Tulane University in New Orleans.
Dr. Thibault joined the faculty at the Univerity of Massachusetts-Dartmouth in 1968 and taught there for 22 years. She was also served as director of the Student-Teacher Certification Program.
