Effective January 2025, Barbara Jung will become the first woman dean of the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. She currently serves as the first woman chair of the department of internal medicine at the University of Washington.

Dr. Collley has been serving as acting provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. She joined the faculty at the university in 1991 and was named a full professor in the department of biochemistry and molecular genetics in 2002. Dr. Colley is the former dean of the Graduate College.

Currently, Dr. Parish is dean of the College of Health Professions and Sentara Professor of Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Prior to joining the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University, she served as dean of BouveÌ College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University in Boston.
