Since 2018, Dr. LeGrande has served as vice provost for strategic enrollment management at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Earlier, she was vice president for strategic enrollment management at the University of Houston-Downtown. Prior to her duties in Houston, Dr. LeGrande worked at North Carolina A&T State University and Winston-Salem State University.

For the past eight years, Dr. Fulton has served as dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and professor of history, humanities, and languages at the University of Houston–Downtown. Earlier, she taught at the University of Alabama.
Stepping down from their posts are Carolyn Ashe, a business professor at the University of Houston-Downtown, Pat Thompson, the vice president for athletics at Elmira College in New York, and Fiona Doyle dean of the graduate division at the University of California, Berkeley.
The new deans are Carolyn Denard at Connecticut College, DoVeanna Fulton at the University of Houston Downtown, Jane Mutchler at Purdue University Calumet, Michele Stalder at the University of Alaska and Carola Weil at American University.
