The new deans are Lisa A. Kitko (University of Rochester), Henrietta Williams Pichon (University of Colorado-Colorado Springs), Sue VandeWoude (Colorado State University), Ahkinyala Cobb-Abdullah (Virginia Union University), Deborah Crown (Pepperdine University), Carla S. Freeman (Emory University), Viki Williams (Old Dominion University), and Nell Jessup Newton (Wake Forest University).
Valerie Martin Conley is currently the dean of the College of Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Before joining the faculty there in 2015, Dr. Conely was department chair and professor of counseling and higher education in the Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education at Ohio University. She will become provost at Idaho State in the summer of 2022.
The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs has announced a pool of four finalists for the position of dean of the university's College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Two of the four finalists are women.

New women faculty at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs include Esther Lamidi in sociology, Judith Martin in the College of Nursing, and Ji Hyun Oh in the College of Education. All three hold the rank of assistant professor.
The five women appointed to new administrative posts are Monica Scott at Lane College, Pamela L.A. Barkett at Stevenson University, Fatima M. Mncube-Barnes at Howard University, Eileen O'Connor at Yale University, and Joanna Bean at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
The new deans are Renee Johnson-Thornton at Wesleyan University, Mary Margaret Holt at the University of Oklahoma, Karin Ruhlandt at Syracuse University, Valerie Martin Conley at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and Tania Sheldahl at Yavapai College in Arizona.
