Maryann Manning to Lead the International Reading Association
Dr. Manning is distinguished professor emerita in the department of curriculum and instruction at the University of Alabama Birmingham. She joined the UAB faculty in 1972.
In Memoriam: Sara Will Crews Finley, 1930-2013
Dr. Finley and her husband founded the first genetics program in the southeastern United States. She served for 30 years as the co-director of the Laboratory of Medical Genetics at the University of Alabama Birmingham.
