Dr. Hammond has over four decades of experience in community college and university leadership. She has served as president of Mid-Michigan College and chief academic officer of Northern Central Michigan College.
Sarah Taylor-Rodgers was the former acting director of what is now the University of Maryland's Harry R. Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology in Queenstown. Earlier in her career, she was the first woman secretary of the Department of Natural Resouces of the State of Maryland.
The five new deans are Elizabeth Frombgen at Thiel College in Pennsylvania, Linda Caron at Wright State University in Ohio, Julie Zerwic at the University of Iowa, Mary Farrell at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Donna M. Eddleman at the University of Redlands in California.
Susan Traverso is the first woman to serve as president of Thiel College in the educational institution's 150-year history. She was provost, senior vice president, and professor of history at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
