Linda Fay taught as a professor of nursing at SUNY Canton for over three decades. Throughout her long tenure, she was honored several times for her outstanding teacher contributions.
Here is this week’s roundup of women who have been appointed to new administrative positions at colleges and universities throughout the United States.
The four women appointed to university provost positions are Debra J. Liebowitz at Quinnipiac University in Hamdem, Conncticut, Karlyn Crowley at Ohio Wesleyan University, Elizabeth Chilton at Washington State University, and AnneF. Herzog at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
Josee Larochelle was named officer-in-charge at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. The title is equivalent to interim president. Larochelle currently serves as vice president for administration and finance at the university. She has been at SUNY Plattsburgh since July 2017.
