The four women faculty members appointed to Distinguished Professer positions in the State University of New York System are Margaret A. Turk at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, Lisa Jean Moore at Purchase College, Nkiru Nzegwu at Binghamton University, and Tiantian Zheng at SUNY Cortland.
The State University of New York System has announced the appointment of 21 faculty members to the rank of Distinguished Professors. Four of these appointments went to women: Kathlyn A. Parker of Stony Brook, Ann S. Botash at SUNY Upstate Medical Center, Julie Ann Woodworth of Niagara County Community College and Bonni C. Hodges of SUNY-Cortland.
The honorees are Chritine Grant of North Carolina State University, Shannor Vallor of Santa Clara University, Kimberly E. Applegate of Emory University, Julie Bullard of the University of Montana, Nance Wilson of SUNY-Cortland, and Mary Kay Washington of Vanderbilt University.
