St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota has combined its School of Business and the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences into one new academic unit: the School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership. Aimee Zeller, who has been serving as associate provost at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, will serve as the school's inaugural dean.
The appointments are Mansi Kasliwal at the California Institute of Technology, Haley Oliver at Purdue University in Indiana, Jan Eberth at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, and Aunpama Pasricha at St. Catherine University in Minnesota.
Also among the top five colleges for women according to Newsweek are Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, St. Catherine University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Herzing University-Madison in Wisconsin, and Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
“Representation is important, and especially representing [gendered] violence is important because most of the time, [agents] just reproduce the same idea that women are the one to blame, and there is not really a space where women can express their traumatic experience of the sexual abuse,” said Dr. Huamán Andía, endowed professor at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota

The four women promoted to full professor at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, are Kim Ha in chemistry, Sharon Radd in organizational leadership, Lisa Rovick in interprofessional education, and Anaya Mitra in psychology.
The Council on Undergraduate Research has recently honored St. Catherine University, a women's educational institution, for creating and facilitating outstanding research opportunities for undergraduates. About one fifth of the undergraduate population at St. Kate's participates in research.
