Megan Nagel Is the New Chancellor of the Greater Allegheny Campus of Pennsylvania State University
Dr. Nagel joined Penn State Greater Allegheny in 2010 as an assistant professor of chemistry. She earned tenure and was promoted to associate professor of chemistry in 2018. Dr. Nagel has served as interim chancellor since June 2022.

Courtney Howard has been named the chief diversity officer at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Dana Murray Patterson is the new chief diversity officer at Wingate University in North Carolina and Keisha Booker was named assistant director for the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.

In Memoriam: Linda Rae Daniels, 1953-2018
Linda R. Daniels worked for Ohio University for 18 years, most recently as director of multicultural programs. Earlier, she was on the staff at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown for 14 years.
In Memoriam: Susan Hardwick, 1945-2015
Professor Hardwick joined the faculty of the geography department at the University of Oregon in 2000 and retired from the full-time faculty in 2010. Earlier in her career, she taught at Texas State University in San Marcos, California State University, Chico and Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, California.
