The Jefferson Science Fellows Program is designed to further build capacity for science, technology, and engineering expertise within the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development. Seven of the 12 fellows this year are women.
Taking on new faculty roles are Laura Genik at Michigan State University, Marta Ptaszynska at the University of Chicago, Dianne H.B. Welsh at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, Brinda Sarathy at Pitzer College, and Margaret Satterthwaite at New York University.
