The new deans are Julie Akers at Washington State University, Leslie Rissler at the University of Montana, Rhonda L. Mingo at Presbyterian College in South Carolina, Leigh Giles-Brown at Lincoln Land Community College in Illinois, Jasmin Feimster at Pitt Community College in North Carolina, and Kayla Caron at Middlesex Community College in Massachusetts.
Dr. Pharr's new appointment marks a return to Pitt Community College, where she previously served as the assistant vice president of academic affairs. She has been serving as president of South Piedmont Community College in Polkton, North Carolina.
