A Trio of Women Who Have Been Appointed to Endowed Professorships

Christine Alvarado will be the inaugural holder of the Paul R. Kube Endowed Chair of Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego. Allison Jaynes was appointed the F. Wendell Miller Distinguished Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Iowa and Zelda Lockhart was named the Distinguished Endowed Associate Professor of Creative Writing and African American Literature at North Carolina Central University.
