Dr. Riordan became the first woman president of Adelphi University in New York in 2015. In addition to her administrative background, she researches leadership, talent development and career success, and DEI.

The professors selected for new appointments are Padma Raghavan at Vanderbilt University, Audrey Corbett at the University of Oklahoma, Michelle Harkins at the University of New Mexico, Brittney May at the University of Nevada-Reno, Wendy Townsend at Purdue University, Farah Jasmine Griffin at Columbia University, and Karen Doherty at Syracuse University.

The International Communications Association recognized Gail Fairhurst for her extensive body of research on organizational and leadership communication processes, including those involving paradox, problem-centered leadership, and framing.

Raquel Monroe, Fatma Mili, Sharon Tucker, Mary McGriff, RoSusan D. Bartee, Marie-Anne de Graaff, Heather Phipps, and Melissa Delikat are taking on new dean positions at educational institutions across the country.
