Through a new partnership with the New Jersey Black Women's Collective, Mercer County Community College in New Jersey has launched a new Leadership Institute aimed at supporting emerging Black women leaders through speaker series, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
Dr. Preston previously served as provost and vice president of academic affairs at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, New Jersey. Earlier in her career, Dr. Preston served in various roles at Montgomery College in Maryland and Georgia Perimeter College.
Sally Roberts, an associate dean at the University of Kansas School of Education, Patricia C. Donohue, president of Mercer County Community College in New Jersey, and Denise A. Roche, president of D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York, are all stepping down.
