Stone taught in public and private K-12 schools and served on the faculty at Lee University on three different occasions. She also taught at the College of Saint Mary, Metropolitan Technical Community College, the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and the School of Christian Ministry and Patten University in California.
Dr. Alisa White is currently president of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. She previously served as vice president for academic affairs at the University of Texas at Tyler and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Debbie Murray has been appointed to the newly created position of provost at Lee University. Dr. Murray holds the rank of distinguished professor of education at Lee University. She joined the Lee faculty in 1980 and has been serving as vice president for academic affairs since 2013.

The women scholars awarded tenure at Lee University are Daniela Augustine in theological studies, Ingrid Hart in accounting, Mary McCampbell in humanities, and Debra Mimbs in mathematics. The tenure appointments are effective on August 1.

Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee has announced that there are nine new faculty members on campus this semester. Three of the nine are women who are new assistant professors of nursing.
