Carolyn Noll Sorg currently serves as vice president of enrollment and marketing at John Carroll University. She is slated to become the university's first woman president on June 1, 2026.
The new deans are Nicole Leeper Piquero at the University of Maryland, Melissa Cole at John Carroll University in Ohio, Cass Kvenild at the University of Wyoming, Josie Brown at the University of Hartford in Connecticut, and Xan Arch at Portland State University in Oregon.
Since 2010, Dr. Larson has been president of Pierpont Community and Technical College in Fairmont, West Virginia. Earlier, she held administrative posts at Holyoke Community College in Massachusetts and Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio.
