While boys and girls continue to associate computer science and engineering as professions for men, a new study has found K-12 students are more likely to believe women are stronger performers in mathematics and just as competent as men in science.

Lisa Lambert has been a faculty member at Chatham University in Pittsburgh for four decades. She currently serves as the institution's provost and vice president of academic affairs.

Although products containing formaldehyde have been banned in several countries and states, many personal care items used by Black and Latina women contain the cancer-causing chemical.
