Dr. Ryan currently serves as the interim chancellor at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany. Before being named interim chancellor, Dr. Ryan served in several roles at the university, including executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, dean of the school of social sciences, coordinator for the department of history, and professor of history.
Dr. Ford currently serves as chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, a role she has held since 2009. Before joining the University of Wisconsin System, Dr. Ford served as vice president for student affairs at the University of West Florida, and vice president for student affairs and dean of students at Spalding University in Kentucky.
The six women are Tsu-Jae King Liu at the University of California, Berkeley, Corinne Murphy at Western Kentucky University, Faye Marsha Camahalan at Indiana University Southeast, Margaret M. Andrewa at the University of Michigan-Flint, Esther L. Jones at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Angi Elsea Bourgeois at Mississippi State University.
Dr. Bichelmeyer will take office as interim president on July 1 and serve for one year while the university conducts a search for a permanent president. She is a professor of education and associate vice president for university academic policy and planning at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Sandra Patterson-Randles has served as chancellor of Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, since 2002. Her contract was recently extended to run through June 2014 but she is leaving a year earlier.
