Illinois College President Barbara Farley has been named the eleventh recipient of the Courageous Leadership Award presented by Credo a higher education consulting firm. The award is given annually to a higher education president whose vision and dedication have made an impact on their institution, community, and the students they serve.

Six Women Named to Dean Positions at Colleges and Universities

The new deans are Mary Ann Danowitz at North Carolina State University, Cheryl Holcomb-McCoy at American University, Catharine O'Connell at Illinois College, Carolyn Gascoigne at Angelo State University, Sally C. Morton at Virginia Tech, and Melissa Murray at the University of California, Berkeley.
