The appointments are Tamara Josserand at North Carolina A&T State University, Willa Smith at Stony Brook University, Anette Saxe at the University of Nevada-Reno, Linda Chavers at Holyoke Community College, Beth Dowling at Dartmouth College, Kristine Brown at Bucknell University, Janet Hadar at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Paula Murphy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
"I am honored to join this talented community and am committed to collaborating with our campus presidents, external partners, and state, municipal, and community leaders to chart a path forward that is rooted in student success and equity," said Dr. Royal. "The future is bright for CT State, and this is just the beginning."
Since 2010, Dr. Larson has been president of Pierpont Community and Technical College in Fairmont, West Virginia. Earlier, she held administrative posts at Holyoke Community College in Massachusetts and Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio.
