In Memoriam: Teresa Ann Miller, 1962-2021
Teresa A. Miller was senior vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and chief diversity officer for the State University of New York. Earlier, Miller was a tenured professor of law at the University at Buffalo, specializing in immigration law, criminal procedure, and prisoner law.
Harvard Law School Has Appointed Two Women to Dean Positions
L. Tracee Whitley as its new dean for administration, Harvard Law School’s chief administrative officer. Natasha Onken was named assistant dean for student financial services.
Wendy Hensel is the New Provost at Georgia State University in Atlanta
She has served in the post on an interim basis since July 1. Prior to serving as interim provost, Hensel served as interim and full dean of the College of Law from 2017 to 2019, as well as the first associate dean for research and faculty development from 2012-2017.
Jenny S. Martinez Appointed the Next Dean of Stanford Law School
Professor Martinez joined the Stanford Law School faculty in 2003. Currently, she serves as the Warren Christopher Professor of Practice of International Law and Diplomacy and as a senior fellow of Stanford’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. Professor Martinez will become dean on April 1.
