For the past two years, Dr. Edmonds has served as chief of staff at North Carolina Central University. She has extensive experience in North Carolina education, in both K-12 and university settings.

Dr. Dixon has spent the past eight years as chancellor of Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. During her tenure, the university experienced significant growth in enrollment, funding, and employee morale.

The four women named chief diversity officers are Natalie Page at St. Xavier University in Chicago, Tiffany R. Hinton at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina, Kiwana McClung at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Khalilah Shabazz at Butler University in Indianapolis.

Dr. Anderson currently serves as the interim associate vice chancellor for student success at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. NACADA, with approximately 15,000 members in 35 countries, is housed in the College of Education at Kansas State University.

Tracy Elliott is the new dean of the Wilson G. Bradshaw Library on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. Nichole Lewis is the new dean of students at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina and Sharon E. Williams has been appointed interim dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina..

Recently appointed to positions as provosts are Robyn Hannigan at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, Carol Parker at New Mexico State University, Wanda Coneal at Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Farrah Jackson Ward at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina.

Karrie Gibson Dixon has been serving as interim chancellor since April 2018. Before coming to Elizabeth City State University in 2017, Dr. Dixon was a senior administrator for the University of North Carolina System. Most recently, she was vice president for academic and student affairs.

The four women who are stepping down are Mary Cronin at Rice University in Houston, Linda Hayden at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina, Sally Graves Machlis at the University of Idaho, and Elizabeth Creamer at Virginia Tech.
