Dr. Gbowee serves as executive director of the Institute on Gender, Law, and Transformative Peace at the City University of New York. The Institute serves as a hub for cross-sectoral, cross-movement, and transnational organizing, research, and scholarship.
Susan Schultz Huxman currently serves as president of Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo, Ontario. Earlier, she was the director of the Elliott School of Communication at Wichita State University in Kansas.
From 1996 to 2006, Dr. Snyder was president of Bluffton University in Ohio. Earlier, she served for 12 years as vice president and academic dean at Eastern Mennonite University. Dr. Snyder is expected to serve as interim president for the fall 2016 semester only.
The University of Tennessee in Knoxville has announced three finalists for the position of vice provost and dean of the Graduate School. Dixie Lee Thompson, a professor of kinesiology at the university, is the only woman among the three finalists.
