Since 2017, Dr. Howsare Boyens has been serving as provost at Des Moines Area Community College, Urban Campus in Des Moines. She began her tenure at Des Moines Area Community College in 2003 as a counselor.

The four chosen to serve as deans are Saonee Sarker at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Anne Power at Des Moines Area Community College in Iowa, Claire Stewart at the University of Illinois, and Kathleen Rudasill at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The new deans are Christa D. Acampora at the University of Virginia, Valery Forbes at Florida Atlantic University, Victoria Burgos at Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Shuneize Slater at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Brookie Best at the University of California, San Diego, and Jeanie McCarville-Kerber at Des Moines Area Community College in Iowa.
