Dr. Mickles had been serving as vice president of academics, students, and workforce development at Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg. She will serve as interim president of Danville Community College while a search for a permanent president is conducted.

Sweet Briar College Partners With Central Virginia Community College in Dual-Enrollment Plan
Students in associate’s degree programs at Central Virginia Community College will be able to enroll in classes at Sweet Briar College at the same credit hour tuition rate they would be charged at the community college. If they complete their associate’s degree, they will be able to transfer to Sweet Briar to continue their education.
