A native of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Roth began her career at the University of California, Davis in 1986 as the assistant director of residential life in the Office of Student Housing. She left Davis in 2006 to teach at Oregon State University-Cascades and then was director of diversity at Central Oregon Community College.
Shirley I. Metcalf has been serving as interim president of Central Oregon Community College in Bend since last September. Before joining the college in 2011, she taught business in the University of Hawaii system for more than 25 years.
Since 2010 Karin Hilgersom has been serving as vice president for instruction at Central Oregon Community College in Bend. She previously was executive vice president at Walla Walla Community College in Washington State.
