The women who have been appointed to new endowed faculty roles are Sarah Tolbert at the University of California, Los Angeles, Rashimi Adaval at the University of Cincinnati, Sarah Lindley at Kalamazoo College, Karolina Kołpak at Central Connecticut State University, and Sarah Karalunas at Syracuse University.
The appointments are Lisa Lattanza at Yale, Jennifer Talarico at Lafayette College, Desiree DÃaz at the University of Central Florida, Doris Wagner at the University of Pennsylvania, Emily McCobb at the University of California, Davis, Aimee Crawford at Central Connecticut State University, and Chantal de Jonge Oudraat at George Washington University.
For the past three years, Glynis Fitzgerald has served as senior vice president and provost at Alvernia University, a private Catholic institution in Reading, Pennsylvania. Earlier, Dr. Fitzgerald served as associate vice president of academic affairs and dean for the school of graduate studies at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
Zulma R. Toro is executive vice chancellor and provost at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has held this post since 2013. And since July she has been serving as interim chancellor of the university. She will begin her new duties at Central Connecticut State University on January 3.
