Patti Neuhold-Ravikumar, president of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmund has announced her intent to leave the university, effective January 31, 2023 and Susan Muscarella, founding president of the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, has announced she will be stepping aside from the presidency in May 2023 to concentrate on teaching.
The six women who have been appointed to administrative posts are Sarah Chinniah at the University of Missouri, Carrie Castille at the University of Tennessee, Amikaeyla Gaston at the California Jazz Conservatory. Jana Rosinski at Syracuse University, Micki Kidder at the University of Notre Dame, LaNiece R. Tyree at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
