Dr. Lindsay has served as the second woman president of Anne Arundel Community College for over a decade. She is slated to retire from her position at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Taking on new roles in higher education related to diversity are Laura Rugless at Michigan State University, Kellie McCants-Price at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. and Sheree M. Ohen at Amherst College in Massachusetts.
Dr. Runyon currently serves as campus vice president of Front Range Community College in Colorado, where she is the top executive on the Larimer campus. From 2007 to 2015, she worked at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland
