“I have been fortunate to lead a remarkable team in building the frameworks, practices, and resources that enable Harvard to attract and retain the best and brightest scholars from around the world and support them in their work," said Judith Singer, who will step down from her role as Harvard's senior vice provost for faculty on June 30.
Dr. Hendrix, a 1974 graduate of Shepherd University, is the first alum to lead the institution. She is slated to retire at the conclusion of this academic year following 10 years of service.
Dr. Fuentes was named the first Hispanic and second woman president of St. Edward's University in 2021. She is set to retire from her presidency on July 1, 2026.
President Cordon became the tenth president of Southern Virginia University in 2023. She is slated to conclude her tenure at the end of the current academic year.
Dr. Suzanne Johnson has been ousted as president of Green River College in Auburn, Washington. Last year, the community college's deficit peaked at $14.2 million, leading Dr. Johnson to implement a hiring freeze and college-wide budget cuts.
Dr. Tuminez is the first woman to serve as president of Utah Valley University on a full-time basis. She is slated to conclude her presidency on May 1, following over seven years of service.
Monica J. Posey was named president of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in 2016, making her the first African American woman president of a major educational institution in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. She will retire from the college in August, following over three decades of administrative service.
“This has been a tough decision as I have loved my time at Great Falls College, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for it,” said Dr. Erdmann. “But I have decided that this will be the right time for me to begin the next chapter of my life and focus on new personal goals and opportunities.”

Dr. Raymond has served as Haverford College's sixteenth president for the past six years. She is slated to retire in June 2027 following more than three decades in academia.
Dr. Lindsay has served as the second woman president of Anne Arundel Community College for over a decade. She is slated to retire from her position at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Dr. Gaba is the first woman and the first African American to serve as president of Atlantic Cape Community College in New Jersey. Before her current role, she was provost of Union County College in New Jersey for 15 years.
