The University of Rochester has acquired a new collection of letters written by Susan B. Anthony to Rachel Foster Avery, who Anthony called her “most cherished young lieutenant.” The letters were written between 1881 and 1900.
Professor Jean-Venable Goode Will Be the Next President of the American Pharmacists Association
Dr. Goode is a professor in the School of Pharmacy and director of the Community Pharmacy Practice Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She will become president of the nation’s oldest and largest pharmacy organization in March 2016.

Federal Government Announces New Reporting Rules for Sexual Violence Incidents on Campus
Under the proposed regulations colleges would be required to compile statistics for incidents of dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking in addition to current requirements covering the reporting of rape and sexual assault.

Since September 2013, Dr. Hunter has served as vice chancellor for academic affairs for the seven campuses of the University of Maine System. Earlier, she was executive vice president for academic affairs at the Orono campus.
