Sally Roush to Lead San Diego State University
Roush joined the staff at San Diego State in 1982 as director of personnel services. In 1994, she was promoted to senior vice president for business and financial affairs. She retired in 2013 after 31 years of service to the university. She is expected to serve as interim president for one year, beginning July 1.
Brenda Allen Named the Fourteenth President of Lincoln University in Pennsylvania
Dr. Allen has been serving as provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. She is the former associate provost for institutional diversity at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Earlier, she taught at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Former Assistant Attorney General Named to Lead the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City
When she takes office on August 1, Karol V. Mason will be the first woman and the first person of color to serve as president of the college. She served as an assistant attorney general during the Obama administration and was the director of the Office of Justice Programs.
Green River College in Auburn, Washington, Names Suzanne Johnson as President
Suzanne Johnson has been serving as vice president for academic affairs at Suffolk County Community College in New York. Earlier she was dean of Dowling College in Oakdale, New York. She will begin her new job as president of Green River College on July 1.
Carol Moore to Lead Columbia College in South Carolina
Dr. Moore came to Columbia College last fall to serve as provost and executive vice president. She is the former president of Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont, and the former provost and vice president of academic affairs at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
Ty Stone Appointed the Sixth President of Jefferson Community College in Watertown, New York
Dr. Ty Stone has been serving as vice president for strategic initiatives as Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, the third largest community college in the state. She has been on the staff at the college since 2010.
Ora Pescovitz Appointed President of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan
Since 2014, Dr. Pescovitz has been serving as senior vice president for Eli Lilly and Company, a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Indianapolis. From 2009 to 2014, she was executive vice president for medical affairs and CEO of the University of Michigan Health System.

Maria Cimitile joined the faculty at Grand Valley State University in 1999 as an assistant professor of philosophy. Professor Rathmell is the Cornelius Abernathy Craig Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University and the director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is also the associate editor of the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
Teresa Boyer to Direct the New Institute for Women’s Leadership at Villanova University
