Teresa Tritt has been named dean of the College of Education at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. A Union faculty member for the past six years, she currently serves as an associate professor of education and director of the educator preparation program. Earlier in her career, she served in a variety of teaching and administrative roles with several public school systems.
Dr. Tritt is a graduate of Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee, where she majored in interdisciplinary studies. She holds a master’s degree in education and a doctorate from Union University.
Stephanie Santorico has been appointed dean of the College of Sciences at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She comes to her new role from the University of Colorado Denver, where she has taught since 2008. Dr. Santorico currently serves as a professor of statistics and human genetics and interim dean of the College of Architecture and Planning.
Dr. Santorico is a graduate of Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, where she majored in mathematics with minors in physics and computer science. She holds a master’s degree in statistics and a Ph.D. in statistics with a concentration in genetics from North Carolina State University.
Kristina Boone has been named dean of the College of Agricultural, Life, and Physical Sciences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Currently, she serves as director of the Agricultural Technical Institute at Ohio State University. Earlier in her career, she was head of the department of communications and agricultural education at Kansas State University.
Dr. Boone holds a master’s degree in agricultural communication and a doctorate in extension education from Ohio State University.
