The New Leader of Antioch University Midwest

Ellen Wood Hall has agreed to serve as interim president of Antioch University Midwest in Yellow Springs, Ohio. She has agreed to serve in this position for one year while the university seeks a permanent president. Since March of this year. Dr. Hall has been provost of the campus, one of five in the Antioch University system.
Dr. Hall came to Antioch in January 2011 as vice president for academic affairs. She is the former president of Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and was dean of the college and vice president for academic affairs at Wells College in Aurora, New York.
Dr. Hall is a graduate of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in French literature from Bryn Mawr College.
