Chamberlain College of Nursing has announced the appointment of two women as campus presidents.
Katherine Walls was named president of the Jacksonville, Florida, campus of the Chamberlain College of Nursing. She was serving as dean of academic affairs at the Jacksonville campus and is the former assistant dean of nursing and allied health at Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois.
Dr. Walls is a graduate of the University of Delaware. She earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Maryland and a doctorate in higher education administration from Illinois State University.
Katherine Dimmock is the new president of the Miramar, Florida, campus. She is the former president of the Jacksonville campus. Prior to joining the administration at the Chamberlain College of Nursing, Dr. Dimmock was vice president for nursing at AmeriTech College in Draper, Utah.
Dr. Dimmock earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Indiana University School of Nursing. She earned an educational doctorate at Northern Illinois University. Dr. Dimmock is also a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law.
With over 25 years of experience in higher education, business, and public service, Dr. Kollmann has been serving as chancellor of the New Mexico State University Global Campus. She is slated to become the next president of Vermont State University in July.
Throughout her career, Leeds has gained more than 25 years of experience as a professor and university administrator. Currently, she serves as dean of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Dr. Recasner has over two decades of experience as a tenured faculty member and senior administration in higher education. She has been serving as the interim president of Seattle Central University.
