Ivy Banks was appointed vice president for institutional diversity and inclusion at Xavier University in Cincinnati. She is the former associate vice provost for diversity and inclusion at the University of Arizona. Banks serves as vice chair of the Chief Diversity Officers Steering Committee of the Association of American Universities. She will begin her new duties at Xavier University in late January.
Banks holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Cleveland State University. She earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University and a juris doctorate from the University of Akron in Ohio.

Bradley has served as the interim vice president for inclusion and institutional equity since July 2021. She joined the staff at Towson University in 2018 as assistant vice president of equity and compliance. Earlier, she served as Title IX coordinator and was an adjunct faculty member at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina.
