Meredith College Is Offering Women Two New Accelerated Master’s Degree Options

Meredith College, a liberal arts educational institution for women in Raleigh, North Carolina, has announced two new programs that will enable Meredith students to pursue accelerated graduate degrees.

The women’s college is partnering with the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in Raleigh that will allow students to complete their bachelor’s degree and law degree in six years. Students will spend three years at Meredith College and then begin study at the law school. Credits during their first year at law school will complete their degree requirements at Meredith College. Fourth-year students can continue to live on the Meredith College campus during their first year studying law.

Meredith College is also offering an accelerated MBA program. Qualified students will complete a core set of business courses during their first three years at Meredith. During their senior year, students in the program will take two MBA courses that will count toward their undergraduate and graduate requirements. After earning their undergraduate degree, students will be able to complete the Meredith MBA with two semesters and two summer sessions. “This option is available not only to business students but to all students at Meredith,” said Kristie Ogilvie, dean of the School of Business. “It is a strong option for students who want to combine an MBA with their undergraduate degree in fields including, but not limited to, the arts, English, communication, STEM fields, or design.”

Jo Allen, president of Meredith College explains that “we are proud to announce newly designed curricula that reflect the ways more students are choosing to go to college. Based on well-constructed pathways and faculty/staff guidance and support, our students will be work- and life-ready by building on their strengths for more inspirational and meaningful experiences.”
