The Next President of Atlantic Cape Community College in New Jersey

The next president of Atlantic Cape Community CollegeThe board of trustees of Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing, New Jersey, has named Barbara Gaba as the educational institution’s next president. Dr. Gaba will take office on January 30.

Atlantic Cape Community College enrolls more than 6,300 students. Women make up 60 percent of the student body.

Dr. Gaba has been serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey. She has served in this role since 2002. Earlier, she was dean of academic and student support at Camden County College in New Jersey.

A native of New York City, Dr. Gaba is a graduate of Stony Brook University of the State University of New York System. She earned a master’s degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a doctorate from Bayero University in Nigeria.
