Jennifer Price, longtime administrator in higher education enrollment, passed away on September 8. She was 49 years old.
A native of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, Dr. Price earned her bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was student worker in the university’s admissions office. She went on to receive a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bowie State University in Maryland and a doctorate in higher education leadership from Walden University.
Dr. Price’s 23-year career in higher education spanned roles in enrollment management, student success, and institutional leadership. After serving as vice president for enrollment management and student affairs at Florida Gateway College, Dr. Price joined the administration of Edward Waters University in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2019. During her six-year tenure as vice president for enrollment management at Edward Waters, she helped grow the university’s student body from some 900 students to nearly 1,300 students.
In 2025, Dr. Price became vice president of enrollment management at Clinton College in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
