Heidi Fernandez has been named dean of University College at Trident University, which is based in Cypress, California. She previously held this role on an interim basis. Dr. Fernandez joined Trident University in 2013, with her previous positions including math department chair and associate dean of University College.
Dr. Hernandez is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she majored in sociology and education. She holds a master’s degree in mathematics education from Walden University and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Florida.
Cheryl Bremer was appointed dean of the School of Education at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. She formerly headed the special education department at the college.
Dr. Bremer is a graduate of Grace College. She earned a master’s degree at Indiana University and an educational doctorate through Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Currently provost at The Citadel in South Carolina, Dr. Selden previously worked for the University of Lynchburg for 18 years, ultimately serving as provost. She is slated to return to the university as president on July 1.
Dr. Wisdom, superintendent of New Bloomfield R-III Schools in Missouri, is a four-time graduate of William Woods University. She is slated to assume the presidency of alma mater on July 1.
