Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, has named two women as Pulte Homes Professors of Practice. The Pulte Homes Professorships were established in 2003 by a gift from Pulte Homes to help with the recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty members.
Aleksandra Graff is an assistant professor of practice in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. A member of the Virginia Tech faculty since 2017, Graff came to the university with five years of experience in the construction industry working as a staff engineer and project manager at the engineering firm Intertek-PSI. Graff received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Ohio University.
Lindsay Lally is also an assistant professor of practice in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. A member of the Virginia Tech faculty since 2018, Lally has more than 12 years of experience in design and the construction industry. She holds a professional engineering license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has designed and managed a variety of land development projects, specializing in higher education. Lally received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, both in civil engineering, from Virginia Tech.
Dr. Cautin, provost of Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, brings over two decades of higher education experience to her new role as president of Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She is slated to begin her presidency on July 1.
