Two Women Appointed to Positions as Dean of Students at Universities

Sarah Ingram Westerberg has been named dean of students at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Prior to this appointment, Westerberg served as the associate dean of students and the director of the Center for Service Learning at the university.

Dr. Westerberg earned a bachelor’s degree and post-graduate certificate of education from St. Anne’s College at Oxford University in England. She holds a master of public administration degree and a doctoral degree from Brigham Young University.

Shetina M. Jones has been appointed dean of students at Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. She was previously a senior associate director at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Jones earned both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and is a Ph.D. candidate in educational administration at Indiana State University.
