New Boston College Program Provides Mentors for Women Seniors

Many programs have been developed to offer junior and senior mentors for women entering college. These mentors can help women adjust to college life and steer them to the right career paths.
But a new program established at the Women’s Center at Boston College seeks to continue mentoring programs for undergraduate seniors as they seek to transition to graduate school or their careers. The RISE program will pair up 64 women seniors with prominent women faculty and staff members on campus. The mentors will offer advice and guidance to women about their opportunities after their undergraduate years. Members of the program will meet monthly over dinner to reflect on and discuss issues that face Boston College women.
