Marcia Buck to Lead the American College of Clinical Pharmacy

BuckMarcia L. Buck, an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, was named president-elect of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. She will assume the office of president-elect this month at the ACCP Global Conference on Clinical Pharmacy in San Francisco.

Dr. Buck also serves as a clinical associate professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Virginia and as an affiliate clinical professor in the School of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Dr. Buck earned a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in pharmacy at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She complete a pediatric pharmacy residency and a fellowship in pediatric pharmacology at the Medical University of South Carolina.
