The New President of Saint Catharine College in Kentucky

cindy-gnadinger-presidentCindy Meyers Gnadinger was named the eighth president of Saint Catharine College in Kentucky. She had been serving as provost at the college. The college enrolls about 750 undergraduate students and women make up 65 percent of the student body, according to the latest U.S. Department of Education figures.

Dr. Gnadinger joined the college in 2014 as vice president for academic affairs. Previously, she was vice president for academic affairs at William Peace University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and assistant vice president for academic affairs at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.

“I am honored to serve as the eighth president of St. Catharine College,” Dr. Gnadinger said. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation that has been established at this historic institution. I am grateful to the Board of Trustees and the Dominican Sisters of Peace for the confidence they have placed in my leadership. The Dominican pillars of prayer, study, ministry, and community make St. Catharine an ideal place for me to continue my work with faculty, staff, and students. I am eager to get started and look forward to working with our community to enhance the impact of our college.”

Dr. Gnadinger holds an educational doctorate in supervision of instruction from the University of Louisville. She is the author of the children’s book The Man on the Wall (Butler Books, 2010).
