Dianna Phillips to Lead the Community College of the University of the District of Columbia

The board of trustees of the University of the District of Columbia has named Dianna G. Phillips as the chief executive officer of the university’s Community College. The Community College enrolls about 2,700 students. Women make up two thirds of the student body. Dr. Phillips’ appointment is effective November 17.
Dr. Phillips has been serving as executive vice president for educational services at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey. Previously, she was dean of technical education at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Phillips is a graduate of National University in San Diego. She holds a master’s degree from Buffalo State University and a doctorate in the social foundation of education from the University at Buffalo of the State University of New York System.
