University of Georgia Educator Named Editor of Leading Journal

SandmannLorilee R. Sandmann was appointed editor of the Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement. Dr. Sandmann is a professor of lifelong education, administration, and policy in the College of Education at the University of Georgia.

Professor Sandmann taught for 17 years at the University of Minnesota and then served on the faculty at Michigan State University from 1990 to 1999. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Sandmann served as vice provost for institutional effectiveness and strategic partnerships at Cleveland State University. She joined the faculty at the University of Georgia in 2001.

Dr. Sandmann holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota. She earned a doctorate in adult and continuing education at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
