Two Women Named to Positions as Dean

Suzan Harrison was appointed dean of the faculty and vice president for academic affairs at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Harrison joined the college’s faculty in 1989 and currently serves as professor of rhetoric.
Professor Harrison is a graduate of Eckerd College and holds a master’s degree from Florida State University and a Ph.D. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jenny Hall-Jones was appointed dean of students and vice president for student affairs at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She has been serving in the post on an interim basis and was one of three finalists chosen in a national search.
Dr. Hall-Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology, a master’s degree in college student personnel, and an educational doctorate, all from Ohio University.
